Guide for Leave of Absence Counseling

  • How to Confirm Your Academic Advisor for Counseling
    : Go to Trinity → CUK Career Support → My Page → My Career → Career Planning (Top left)
  • How to Schedule Counseling
    : Go to Trinity → Apply for leave of absence under Academic Information → Email your academic advisor (include the reason for your leave) and request a counseling session

Exceptional Leave of Absence

In the following cases, you must visit the Academic Affairs Services Team in person to submit the necessary documents

  • If you wish to continue your general leave after being discharged from the military (bring your discharge certificate)
  • For students who have exceeded the maximum of three years (six semesters) of leave, you need to fill out the Excessive Leave Application at the Academic Affairs Services Team. Then, get approval from your department office after meeting with your academic advisor and the department chair
  • For medical leave, you must provide a medical certificate from a CUK-affiliated hospital or a general hospital indicating that a recovery period of at least four weeks is required

Tuition Refund Policy Based on the Timing of Leave of Absence

Military Leave

Students applying for military leave must submit the military leave application to the Academic Affairs Services Team in person, along with their enlistment notice, at least one week before the enlistment date. (The same applies to students already on general leave who are then enlisting.)
