2024 Fall Commencement Ceremony

The 2024 Fall Commencement Ceremony was held last Monday, August 19, in the Concert Hall of The Catholic University of Korea. In this ceremony, a total of 677 students including 435 bachelors, 188 masters, and 54 doctors received their diplomas.
The ceremony was followed by the awarding of the graduates of excellent achievements. △Kim Ji-on (Japanese Language & Culture) and 101 others received the Excellence Award; △Kim Yang-hwan (Business Administration) and 72 others received ELP Certificate.
President Won Jong-cheol congratulated the graduates on their degree acceptance and encouraged them, "The experiences and values we have experienced at our university for four years will help us find the right way throughout our lives," adding, "I hope that as an intellectual, we will solve various social problems and exert a positive influence in the community in the future."
In addition, he said, "What we have learned is not just for me, but for all our members, and we support the pursuit of happiness in society, not for my own happiness."
Oh Chun-jun (Chemistry) who graduated on this day said "I don't think it has been long since I entered to CUK. I'll grow into a great person through what I've learned so far at CUK."
